Graduate Program Collegiate Board – Responsibilities and Structure

Responsibilities of the Program Collegiate Body include, among others:

I – To comply with and enforce the postgraduate regulations of UFU and those established in the Program's Regulations.

II – To define and approve the number of available positions for new students, after consulting the Program's faculty, as well as to set the maximum number of advisees per supervisor, in accordance with the Program's internal rules and current legislation.

III – To approve the names of faculty members who will serve on the committee responsible for preparing the selection notice and conducting the selection process for candidates.

IV – To approve (homologate) the selection notice to be submitted to the competent UFU bodies, ensuring its publication in the Federal Official Gazette at least fifteen days prior to the start of the application period.

V – To organize the list of courses to be offered each academic term, as well as to set the academic calendar.

VI – To review and decide on applications for enrollment in isolated courses.

VII – To analyze applications for equivalency and credit transfer from other postgraduate programs, approving them when in compliance with current legislation.

VIII – To approve (homologate) the composition of examination committees.

IX – To take the necessary measures to ensure the smooth operation of the Program.
